Kremlin says Russian economy starts growing despite sanctions
MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- In spite of unpreceded restrictions, the Russian economy has begun growing, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
"It is already obvious that despite the unpreceded burden of imposed restrictions macroeconomic stability was ensured, the economy is on a growth trajectory, this is a fact that cannot be ignored," Peskov said.
He also said that the sanctions and their ineffectiveness have backfired on Europe.
“European politician also see the ineffectiveness of sanctions and a boomerang effect from them,” he said.
